Did you know about him or on the beach you saw someone "flying" with his kitesurf, instead of his board moving on the water, it was certainly interesting for you. This type of board flying is called foiling and is a completely new and dynamic experience, even for the most experienced kite surfers.

Kite foil is practiced by hanging a special hydrofoil on the kitesurf board, with which you raise your board about 1 meter in the air and thus you generally "fly" like the magic carpets from the movies. The foil board is much easier to ride, even when there is no wind, and develops higher speeds with much greater ease than a traditional kitesurf board. According to many foiling practitioners, the feeling of being a meter in the air and "levitating" without almost any effort is really something completely different and unique.
